Most people who play Golf say they relax and enjoy the game.
There are not many activities that allow you to relax while playing a game. Golf is, fortunately, one of them.
Getting out for a walk in the fresh air does wonders for improving endorphin and serotonin levels which leads to improved mood. The exercise also reduces stress and anxiety. Coupled with an escape from the hassles of day-to-day living, the game can be relaxing.
Relax While Playing Business Golf
This is why including a round of golf with clients and staff is something I have been recommending to business people for nearly 20 years.
OH, sure, learning the game of golf is frustrating and you will get mad at yourself for seeming to look like a fool in the beginning.
Fortunately, in time, you learn that even the best golfers have times when they play like a beginner. Once you realize that..it makes relaxing while playing much easier.
Golf can be good for your health and your heart. Since your heart runs the body..this is important.
Walk It OFF!
Walking an average length golf course for a round of golf can be between 3 to 4 miles.
Some of the newer courses are much longer meaning more walking raising the average to 4 to 5 miles of walking.
However, if you walk 18 holes three to five times a week, you’ll get an optimal amount of excellent exercise for your heart.
If you pull your clubs or carry them, you’ll burn even more calories each round and benefit even more.
Playing golf regularly can help you:
- get fit
- improve muscle tone and endurance
- lose weight and body fat.
Other benefits of golf
Golf can also:
- be a great way to keep in touch with friends who may eventually turn into a business connection.
- help in reducing stress
- provide opportunities to meet new people
- help develop a sense of community
So, get out there and start relaxing your way to better health and better GOLF.
