When it comes to golf in Minnesota, The Preserve Golf Course at Grand View Lodge needs to be put on your “A List” of places to go to get out of the heat of a Texas Summer.
But, if you go, make sure to stay a few days because of your first loop around this course will be to see the scenery. The greens are ones you need to play a few times to get the hang of. Finding a flat spot to hit from comes from hitting precise shots.
What a gem of a golf course. The actual course is about 10 miles north of the Grand View Lodge complex, but it is worth the effort to play. Make sure to also go through the Pro-Shop…they have more than just golf apparel.
The Preserve is known for its scenic elevated tees and its tour speed greens. The remodeled clubhouse features one of the best deck views in Minnesota. And, if you like to see a lot to the color Green Grass…The Preserve has that covered.
I didn’t get time to check out the martinis in the grill, but I am certain I’ll be back with my posse and we plan on making it a day at the club. Well worth the trip. Check it out and… Let me know how I can help.
