So, what’s new with Mr Business Golf, you ask? Asking what is NOT new might result in fewer answers.
New is New!
The big news is with the revamping of the Mr Business Golf Show I produced a number of years ago as a Podcast and then in video talk form when online streaming video tech was launch. Now with Google taking control of the online social spaces with the launch of Google Plus I naturally found another more effective way to connect with more people…real people. After spending two years learning how all of the features offered on G+ work and keeping up with their changes I felt it was time to Get After It.
Differentness
So what is going to be different this time with the Mr Business Golf Show? Answer: Is saying “A Lot” a good answer?
When I started with the Mr Business Golf Show back in 2005 it was a knee jerk reaction to my need get to using the new tech way of connecting with golfers. My mission was to talk to people who play golf about how they use golf as a business tool or not and then go from there in our conversations.
Google+ Plays Huge Role
That method of connecting online good and was attracting a following until 2006 when the economy started downhill. By 2008 to word Golf had become one of the forbidden four letter words people deemed as not appropriate to use in the business conversation. There was no use in me fighting something bigger than all of us so I just did what most golfers did and withdrew to same grounds offline until the storm passed.
New Generation Golfers Attitude Not as New As Many Say
This attitude towards golf being something not fitting in most people’s economy is still going on today, however, I am now seeing some glimmer of change in thinking from the new generation golfers. Unfortunately, it not what the new generation golf sites and business forming to capture the younger golfers that are popping up everywhere THINK the new generation golfers are wanting to hear.
There is a growing interest amongst the younger golfers who are looking for sounder and more maturer ways to find a job…network with peers…socialize in a healthier environment while promoting their business interest. This is where I want to help pass on my experience in an effort to keep the next generation of golfers from hitting all of the potholes in the information highway.
Find Solutions
So the new Mr Business Golf will address the issues confronting golf and business today. I’ll be searching for answers to the problems golf has that is keeping it from being as popular as it was a few years ago. Reports will made on what other businesses and people are doing to support the change needed in golf.
Sponsor Riding
The format and the exact name for the show are still in the mill. And course we are meeting nearly daily with potential sponsors who have heard what is developing here and want to be part of something that is real, different and focuses exposure to a sponsor product/service to both online and offline audiences. Sponsor input is of value to our production but will not ever control the content.
Driven Business Relationships

Since joining forces the first of this year with SyncLab Media to produce the video portion of the show new things keep developing. My association with the Caddie Club of Dallas helps me introduce more businesses to the advantage golf can bring to their bottomline. And of course my long lasting partnership with Dave Bisbee and Mark Neace keeps producing new ideas and keeps things light so the FUN shows through in golf.
So things are quickly changing here at Mr Business Golf. Even this blog site will change once the dust gets settled. I like CHANGE and embrace it since with change brings opportunities for improvements and without it life just gets boring.
Stay tuned to hear more of what is going on in the work of golf and business golf. Things are starting to move fast here so I’ll be back more frequently to keep you filled in what is coming up.

Look forward to the new show. I really like the Caddie Club concept for corporate outings. Although I’m not a decision maker, I can sure be a suggestion maker. Good Luck!
