When Dave Bisbee called me a couple of weeks ago to invite me to be a contributor to his new blog, Biz Golf Guru ,I did not hesitate to accept. First of all, Dave and I have been working together for, going on, four years developing a number of projects to help the golf industry. Secondly, knowing who Dave knows and who will be hitting his blog for advice on golf, business and business golf made accepting the invitation to offer my expertise in business golf to his audience an even higher honor.
Dave, being a professional golfer and instructor, will be taking a look at business, golf and business golf through the eyes of a professional golfer. Dave had been out on the teebox with corporate executives and has for over 20 years taught business golf at his corporate outings. His first hand knowledge of knowing what is going on in the board rooms as well as what is going on on the golf course has placed him way above others in his field.
Dave was a pioneer in the exploring, studying and developing programs on how golf works for business development. Now, with his arrival to the internet, he brings his ‘View from the Tips’ blog to all of us.
Forming a Posse
Dave’s plans is to bring together an entire stable of experts to contribute blogs, articles and videos to the Biz Golf Guru site. Each of these associates will make their contribution, in their own words, in an effort to highlight the advantages, disadvantages and discords surrounding the issues involving the business of golf and the people who play golf. Each are experts in what they do and/or what they offer the world of Business Golf.
Together, all of the contributing bloggers on the Biz Golf Guru site will offer an entire catalog of articles, tips and analysis of issues surrounding the world of Business Golf. Yes, there is an entire world out there of golfers interested in learning more about how to make golf work for them. Now, all the experts Dave knows are all together on his site to roundtable our opinions and announce our findings to the world of business golf.
Taking a Hammer to the Issues
As a group, we take our hammers to the issues keeping the different sectors of the golf industry from moving forward. We will break the problems down to show where solutions can be offered. Yes, there will be a rant from time to time and knowing Dave there maybe even some rambling thrown in just to keep the fire burning on an issue until a solution can be found.
The bottomline of what this association of experts is out to accomplish is to help. This help comes in the form of information which leads to solutions. I am very excited to be part of this association and looking forward to making my contribution to this effort because even on the Biz Golf Guru site my mission will continue to be to ask… Let me know how I can help.
