During a recent panel discussion I was asked What makes Golf Exciting? Naturally, the the quick answer would be Playing Golf makes golf exciting, but looking into that question a little deeper there probably are a dozen different things that would make golf exciting for many other golfers that would not affect others at all.
I thought I would touch on a few of the things the majority of golfers feel makes Golf Exciting for them.
Golf Travel
I have not run into a golfer yet that does not enjoying playing a golf course away form home. Traveling, overall, can be exciting once you get the traveling part out of the way. When you add playing golf as the purpose or as part of the purpose of traveling the excitement is naturally going to follow.
Golf Outings
Many golfers enjoy a Golf Outing with a few friends. A day of golf with drinks and dinner afterwards make is something exciting to look forward to doing. This could be a friendly foursome or just a round of golf with another person. Even a round of golf by ones self could be seen as a golf outing..however, on the most part, it is the social part of golf that makes for a true Golf Outing
Golf Competition
Then of course running high on most golfer’s list is competition. True, not all gofers are into playing golf competitively or taking golf that seriously, but maybe they should, especially if they are looking to find more excitement in playing golf. The preparation for competition pushes a golfer to play better. Playing better golf offers up excitement making playing golf more fun.
I am sure there are a number of other interesting aspects of golf that makes golf exciting to you. I would enjoy hearing what you feel makes golf exciting for you.
Let me know how I can help.
