There are a number of topics you can use as your On Course conversation. I suggest you use several of them and make the day filled with interesting talk around golf or related subjects. Just stay away from the Killer subjects that many feel logically is what is suppose to be talked about and that is business.

Why country clubs feel that lowering the initiation and membership fees to the younger generation will help improve revenue is a complete mystery. If someone 35 year old is not able to afford a country club members what makes the club feel they will be able to afford it when they turn 36 years old.

Golfers are people also, and most people have to work, which in the economy today is a daunting task. This lends to a need for business to come first and golf second for the vast majority of the world’s golfers. It would seem that more golfers who are in business and more golf professionals would look to the internet as the biggest club in their bag. Maybe it is and they don’t know how to use it effectively.
