I have always been a firm advocate that giving golfers incentives in the form of a tax deduction for using golf as a business tool would boost the golf economy by at least $1 Billion a year. For the naysayers who will naturally say this incentive would be abused by the filthy rich I can come up with at least three measures that would keep that from happening. But, until those measures are needed..I’ll say that for another day.

It is no surprise North Texans natives have little concern with what the Groundhog has to say on Groundhog day. We know whatever he says it can’t stop the professional golf tours coming to the Dallas/Ft Worth area.
We are very fortunate here in North Texas to have three top ranked professional golf tour tournaments held here in within less than a four week period of time. That gives us avid golf fans plenty of opportunity to see golf played by the best… Continue reading

Ever since I can remember February brings to North Texas two things. First comes the Well-Digger’s-Shovel cold weather and then, secondly, the phone calls asking me the tee times at the golf course. Several times over the years they happen at the same time.
