What is In the Business Golf Country Club for Me?
I know I have answered other forms of this question but still find it interesting the attitude amongst today’s business people who are looking for work or customers still is..It’s got to be all about me.
The answer to what the BGCC has to offer anyone is clear and at multiple levels of clearness. So let me dust this answer to this questions off one more time and freshen it up for the thousands of New connects I have made recently.
Golfers Are Better Networkers
Inside the private club are golfers. Yes, the BGCC is a private club..not a GROUP. You get spammed in a Group..not in a club…but more on that later.
If you play golf and want to find other Real people really interesting in playing golf, the BGCC has that covered because to be a member of the ‘The Club’ you have to be a golfer. But, why a club for just golfers? Well, it clear golfers have a leg up on their competition just due to the aspect that they play golf and others don’t.
Statistically, golfers generally have 40% more Real Solid connections to other golfers, business people, lines of products/services and deals than the average business networker. Why? Well, simple..they play golf. If you don’t play golf you will find this hard to understand, but golfers just meet more Real people than the people who float from networking group to networking group.
Real People??? Why I refer to the BGCC as having REAL people. There are all kinds of ‘people’ online. My studies show that in any online social networking site or group over 60% of the so called members of that gathering place are actually hired guns only out to promote a produce and really do not give a care about anyone but themselves, or are BOT’s..computer programs set up to sign up for a group and sit there absorbing info about the other members of the group so product info can be emailed to them. These unreal people usually are fronts for the multitudes of scams and schemes that perpetrate the internet. The BGCC does not and will not have any of these characters in The Club since I personally screen everyone who joins The Club. That is why I frequently and quantifiably refer to the members of the Business Golf Country Club as Real people..because they actually are.
More importantly The Club offers a network of real people who have the same interest as you and that is to find and make connections to new business. Plus, the Club takes a different approach by offering those who may be in job transition a way to find their strengths and weaknesses so they can be dealt with. How?
The BGCC is the first to bring to its member’s a new innovative program called iMap. iMap was developed to evaluate a person’s strengths and weakness both in their personal and professional worlds. The biggest difference in what iMap offers is it also tells you what your golf strengths and weaknesses. Yeah! Really! Dave and I will be talking more about this, but this program will be part of ‘what’s in it for YOU’ once you become a member of the Business Golf.
Chapter Club Mania
Yes, for those who need or require face time the BGCC now offers that opportunity. The BGCC Chapter Club concept has been in the works for sometime and is being bootstrapped to get them going. The first Chapter was launch in Dallas in June 2010, the next one in Phoenix is being worked on for a late July 2010 launch and now the New York area has a representative we are talking to about getting a Chapter Club going in 2010 for the members there.
Social Media Deluxe
The ClamBake Cafe pilot of interviewing the members of the club on Video took off and will be part of the New Club’s site as soon as the technical issues are ironed out. More programs to heighten the member’s social media rankings with be offered the members of the Business Golf Country Club over the next few months. More video’s of the members of the club will be posted..webinars for members to learn new things about social media will be featured..and more and more .
The BGCC will stay in front of the latest trends in business networking and sift through the stuff that works and the stuff that does not to bring the most effective social media tools available to the club membership.
Security is a Must
On top of all of what the BGCC offers is security. The Business Golf Country Club was created as a safe haven from deception. It will continue to take that approach to business/social networking. The policies of the BGCC membership requirements change periodically to strengthen the security of the club.
Each person who applies for membership is required to post a photo and a URL to a site that has their profile that validates the information they post.…if they do not have that minimum requirement they will need to have a sponsor into the club. A sponsor is another member of the club who is in good standing and will vouch for the photo and information they provide in their personal profile.
The BGCC takes privacy seriously and will continue to do so. We understand that ‘The Club’ is not for everyone and it is not meant to be for everyone so not everyone will be allowed to join. Believe me, a lot of people have tried to get into The Club for clear deceptive reasons. To date 2156 people have applied to join ‘The Club’, only 675 met the club’s membership requirements. Since 2008, 27 unreal people have been suspended from the club who got in under the minimum requirements and were found to be part of the millions of misguided people who adapt the Spamming Business Plan. 14 of which I understand (but can’t validate) are being prosecuted by NING.
Does that tell you who is out here in La-La-Land? Kinda scary isn’t it. It should also show you how serious I am about keeping the BGCC members safe.
The Club For You?
The BGCC is not like the other golf and business networking groups who are formed just to get large numbers of members. It will never take part in the ‘Number Game’. The concept of the BGCC has been pure from the beginning. Its mission is to become the only true golf community online. The BGCC also is focused on helping golf survive by offering more of a purpose to playing golf than it being considered just a recreational activity. The BGCC is committed to putting business back on course..the golf course.
There is a lot in the BGCC that is for YOU and just for YOU if you are a member. The key is becoming a member and get involved and find out what is in the Business Golf Country Club for you. Hope to see you there and let me know how I can help.
